Many agents have jumped into social media as a tool to connect with home buyers and sellers but often times they violate real estate commission rules and regulations and article 12 of the NAR Code of Ethics.
Real Estate Video and Youtube workshopJay and I conducted a wonderful day long workshop on the use of video for real estate in our Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices Verani Realty’s Moutonboro office for the Lakes Region agents. The group all created or fine tuned and existing Youtube Chanel and learned best practices for shooting videos with their cell phones and editing on YouTube. The workshop was informative and everyone left with new idea and excited about showcasing their area and their skill using video.
Should you allow links to open in a new tab or window on your blog post? I’m sure they’ll be some that will say yes but when you do allow that to happen, you end up breaking the back button function and force the user to open a new window or tab on their computer. Often times people have multiple windows open and can at times forget where they were thus not finding their way back to your original site/post. Not checking that box allows the user to browse a site the way they want and not the way you want them to and that “back” button works real well.
