VEDA | What the heck is it and why am I doing it

YTVEDA is Vlog/Video Every Day in April and August and is a challenge that is mainly on YouTube, Twitter and Facebook . The goal is to make a video every day for an entire month. It happens twice a year,  in April and August and is a lot of fun and some stress too as it is not easy doing a video with you in it every single day for an entire month.

It’s something I stumbled upon a few years ago that, at that time the Savvy Sexy Social community (#SSSVEDA) was promoting to help video newbies and even experienced video enthusiasts, fine tune or learn the ropes to using video to connect with their audience.  Being natural in a video is hard and keeping the short is even harder!

I successfully completed April this year and then joined two other communities who are also doing VEDA.  #ZENVeda and #BattenVeda and I really enjoy the engagement and encouragement these groups offer.

I am doing it because I know that video is an important part of my marketing both for real estate and training and being more natural and learning how to make then better is important to me.

I am linking both YouTube Veda Playlists, one from April 2015 and the other  Aug 2015.  I think I’ve gotten a little bit better but still have a long way to go.  Any suggestions or tips please feel free to share with me.

Winter in Hampstead NH

I’m off to Vegas

Going to the National Association of REALTORS annual convention in Vegas for a few days. I’m hoping to be able to take in a few training sessions and check out the trade show for the latest and greatest.

See you all when I get back.
